What we do not do
There are no advertising pixels, no profiling, no behavioural advertising, and we neither sell nor pass data to anyone. Google’s measurement tools, described below, are the one exception and stay off until you allow them.
The typefaces are hosted on our own server and not on Google Fonts: opening a page does not send your IP address to Google. The map on “The place” is our own drawing built from OpenStreetMap data, not an embedded map: it contacts nobody.
WordPress technical cookies exist only for those who log into the administration area, which means us. Visitors receive none.
The only third-party service
The booking form is provided by Dineout and appears only on the “Book a table” page. On every other page nothing is loaded from outside. When you open that page your browser contacts Dineout’s servers, which may set their own cookies or store technical data needed to make the booking work.

The home page also carries a link to gift cards, hosted by Superb Experience. It is a link, not embedded content: until you open it, your browser does not contact that service.
Consent, and what happens if you say no
We use Google’s measurement tools to understand which pages get read. These are non-essential cookies: they do not load before your yes, and until you answer the site writes none of them.
If you say no, we do not ask again at every visit and the site works exactly as before: the measurement is for us, not for you. Your choice is remembered for six months in a first-party technical cookie, which is the only way not to keep asking.
You can change your mind whenever you like: «Cookie preferences», at the foot of every page, reopens the question and lets you answer again. Withdrawing consent has to cost what giving it costs, and sending you hunting through browser settings would not be the same thing.
Blocking them anyway
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies from its own settings. Blocking Dineout’s may stop the booking form from working: in that case you book by telephone, which works just as well.
